Here’s what they sang tonight:
I wasn’t very impressed with the performances tonight, and was especially disappointed by Paul Kim, Sanjaya Malakar and Nicholas Pedro- three of my favorites I expected much, much more from.
But Chris Sligh was good. Please vote for him!

Carrie Underwood won Best New Artist at the Grammy Awards. She thanked God and Simon Fuller, saying “I owe everything to American Idol”. Take that, Kelly Clarkson.
Apparently, our favorite American Idol judge Simon Cowell is “seriously considering” launching his own line of fragrance and other products.
According to Simon’s publicist, Max Clifford: “Yes, it’s true that he is in talks at the moment. The deal is under serious consideration. As I understand, the products would be very distinctive - earthy, in black packaging. Anything Simon puts his name to is bound to generate huge interest.”
No word yet as to which company Simon is in talks with- although it’s supposedly an “American cosmetics giant”.
