Now that was a shock elimination. My boyfriend Chris Daughtry had (just as DialIdol predicted, might I add) the lowest number of votes. After last night? When he did so well and Kat sucked? What’s up, America?
Predictably, the men rocked tonight- with Chris Daughtry’s A Little Less Conversation as my personal favorite performance of the night. Elliott was very good. Taylor was adorable. Katherine struggled, but I honestly didn’t think she did too badly.

What a great night: Bocelli was amazing, Chris Daughtry was in the top two (with Kat McPhee), and Kellie Pickler finally went home. Yes, finally.
I’m loving Elliott right now, and would have been very upset if he left tonight. Paris needs to wow us next week, or she’s in trouble. And apparently even negative Simon comments can’t darken Kat McPhee’s star.
Rod Stewart night blew everyone away. I mean, who would’ve thought? My favourite performance of the night had to be my boyfriend Chris Daughtry’s, although others apparently were less than thrilled since he ended up in the bottom three. The hell? I’ll say it again: Kellie needs to go. Sorry, but she lost me at “What’s a ballsy?”
Ace said goodbye, which was really no big shocker (although I would have liked to see more of the ponytail, he just didn’t milk the falsetto enough). The biggest shocker of the night was Bocelli next week. I love Bocelli, went to see him in concert here, and tear up every time I hear Time to Say Goodbye. Hey, that’s a thought: how about replacing Bad Day with the latter on Wednesdays?
