Go, Ramiele! I think you did much better than last week.

My husband watched the elimination show before I did, and when he texted me that “David is out”, I kinda freaked for a moment, thinking he meant David Cook, who I’ve really grown to like over these past few weeks. Then I realized he meant David Hernandez, and my panic was replaced by sadness.

Because I liked David, I really did- and I didn’t think his performance was that bad. Nowhere near as much of a trainwreck as Kristy Lee Cook’s, anyway. David has an amazing voice, and if his demise has anything to do with him being a stripper in the past, that just sucks.

So, I’m sad he’s gone. But life- and Idol- goes on. I LOVED Beatles night, especially Brooke White’s heartfelt piano performance. Go, Brooke! Please, please vote for Brooke.

This season, I’m keeping quiet until we get to the top 12. Check back next week to read my opinions and comments on the contestants of American Idol 7…
